We are raising funds for A Wider Circle. A non-profit organization that assists children and adults to lift themselves out of poverty. Did you know that approximately 1 out of 3 children in the Nation’s Capital lives in deep poverty? Each day, A Wider Circle provides basic need items to families transitioning out of shelters or simply living without life’s necessities. We are also raising funds for Germantown Hardknocks Youth Foundation. This organization provides youth with alternatives to violence, gangs and drugs. They provide positive youth development programs which will generate measurable improvements in youth self-esteem, goal setting abilities and attitudes toward learning. The programs help inspire and guide youth in the belief that they can act on their dreams, make a difference in their community and realize their potential, one step at a time.
